The weather’s finally getting warm, so it’s time to break out the neon colors!  This is Gelish Tiki Tiki Laranga with distressed peach holo foils on top.  It’s even brighter in the sunlight!

Daisy accent nails on one of the estheticians at work!  They’re about a week grown out in this photo, but we’d originally just done Shellac Zillionaire over Hotski to Tchotchke without the flowers.  We added them in a week later to give the manicure a little extra oomph!

I put in a request at work to start stocking Gelish Vitagel, but since we already carry both Shellac and OPI Gel Color, I’m testing out how Shellac wears encapsulated in a Vitagel base coat and top coat.  The nail art isn’t anything special, but this is a test set, so I didn’t want to do something too complicated.  Most of my clients like a basic nail, anyway.
Colors are Shellac Rubble and Tinsel Toast.

Leopard and plaid nails for my non-festive Thanksgiving manicure.  I chose the colors originally to paint changing leaves on my fingers, but somehow this came out instead!
Colors are all Gelish - Light Elegant, Just in Case Tomorrow Never Comes, and Black Shadow.

Has anyone tried Gelish Vitagel yet?  I picked up a bottle of the Recovery formula yesterday, applied it before my first client this morning, and got two separate clients asking what was on my nails to make them look so nice!

We have a breast cancer fundraiser at work on Friday, so I took this opportunity to try out one of the new Gelish breast cancer awareness colors.  There’s also a layer of Top It Off with Spectraflair mixed in, though as usual, it doesn’t show up in the photo very well.
Base is Gelish Make a Difference, details are in Just in Case Tomorrow Never Comes and You’re So Sweet You’re Giving Me a Toothache.

I recently bought a few Gelish Magneto polishes, so of course I had to try out a manicure with them.  I wasn’t really pleased with how the polishes work on their own, so I layered Don’t Be So Particular over two layers of Black Shadow to create a deeper contrast.
Has anyone else tried playing around with layering the Magneto collection?  I’d love to hear ideas for making different effects!

My sister recently started working towards a vet tech certification, so I gave her some simple paw print nail art to sport at work.  She chose the blue base, then told me to pick a color for the paw prints that made it look like “a magical kitten walking across the sky”.  Such cute imagery!
Base is Zoya Tallulah and paw prints are China Glaze Lorelei’s Tiara.

Opinions please!

At work, I’ve been asked to choose the new manicure/pedicure scents that we’re going to stock. I’m looking at the Smart Spa line, since they can be bought from the same site as Zoya, which is the only polish my salon uses.

So if you could take a moment to click this link and let me know the scent(s) that sound the most appealing to you, that would be a big help.

Thanks in advance, everyone!

Today’s nails are a little different than what I normally post.  I’ve spent two days trying to capture how lovely my holo Gelish manicure is, but to no avail.  So, as a last resort, I took a short video to capture what I see whenever I look at my nails.  It turned out really well, I think!

Base is Gelish Bella’s Vampire with a layer of a Top It Off/Spectraflair powder mixture.
